Aerotec Systems, a leader in equipment management and compliance technology, is proud to announce it has been selected by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) – ParkAir Division to provide advanced equipment safety tracking and inspection management tools.
ParkAir, the aviation unit of NPWS, is widely recognized for its unwavering commitment to operational safety, regulatory compliance, and thorough documentation practices in support of critical environmental and public safety missions across New South Wales. This partnership underscores ParkAir’s continued investment in systems that strengthen visibility, accountability, and proactive risk management.
Aerotec Systems will deploy its integrated platform to support ParkAir’s equipment inspection tracking, compliance monitoring, and real-time status awareness. The system is designed to ensure that all operational equipment meets inspection requirements, while providing centralized visibility into equipment condition, readiness, and lifecycle status.
“ParkAir has built an exceptional safety culture rooted in discipline, documentation, and operational excellence,” said Cody Stewart, Co-Founder of Aerotec Systems. “We are honored to support their mission by delivering tools that not only streamline compliance, but also enhance situational awareness and decision-making across their operations.”
The Aerotec platform enables:
- Automated inspection tracking aligned with regulatory and internal requirements
- Real-time equipment status visibility for improved operational readiness
- Centralized documentation and audit support
- Proactive compliance monitoring to reduce risk and enhance safety outcomes
By integrating Aerotec Systems into its operational framework, ParkAir continues to lead by example in adopting innovative solutions that reinforce safety assurance and operational transparency.
“After reading an article in HeliOps we identified Aerotec’s ATIS software and began a six-month internal trial, which has since transitioned to full implementation. We manage a large volume and variety of operational equipment across a wide area, often in very remote locations, and ATIS has made it far easier to identify, manage and locate these assets, improving both compliance and operational readiness. Previously, we relied on a very large Excel spreadsheet with no controls or alerts, which required significant administrative effort to keep current. With ATIS, everything is in one place: alerts are automated, equipment can be geo-tagged, and equipment checks, manuals and supporting documentation are easy to access, helping ensure correct servicing and ongoing management. As we’ve become more familiar with the system, we’ve found ourselves adding more and more items to be managed within the software” – Grant Simpson – Dir of Operations - NPWS Flight Operations Unit (ParkAir)
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment between Aerotec Systems and ParkAir to advance safety through technology, ensuring that crews have the tools and information needed to operate effectively in dynamic and demanding environments.
