Apex Heli-support has entered into a multi-year teaming and fleet maintainer agreement with GDC Middle East, a Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) company currently delivering aviation training and support services to the Saudi Arabian Ministry of the National Guard (SANG). Announced at World Defense Show in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia February 10th, 2026, these agreements call for Apex to provide maintenance, parts supply, technical and engineering support for 12 x MD-530F and 24 x AH-6i helicopters operated by SANG under a U.S. Army contract. Apex will also provide maintenance training to SANG maintenance teams as a part of the agreements.
“These contracts position Apex Heli Support as the long-term in-country maintenance sustainability partner for SANG,” said Vice President and founder Darin Cannon. “We are looking forward to increasing their aircraft fleet readiness while helping increase the skills and capabilities of the Kingdom’s own dedicated maintenance teams.”
GDC ME welcomes Apex Heli-Support to our Team stated Muneer Bakhsh, the CEO of GDC Middle East. We have patiently searched for an American partner that is willing and able to support the Ministry of the National Guard’s helicopter fleet, and complete that maintenance support within the Kingdom’s borders versus the work being conducted in the USA. This change supports our Vision 2030 themes, and helps to localize more high-end repairs, modifications, and procurement.
