BAM, together with Trakka Systems, has been awarded a four year contract to upgrade the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board’s three AW139s. The contract, awarded under “Purchase of Helicopters SAR Mission Equipment and System Integration” (reference No. 310561).
The aircraft will be equipped with advanced mission systems that will significantly enhance their capabilities for border and maritime patrol, surveillance, and search and rescue operations. The upgrades will improve situational awareness, operational effectiveness, and mission response capability, enabling crews to perform their duties more safely and efficiently.
This project further strengthens the successful partnership between BAM and Trakka Systems in delivering advanced airborne mission solutions for public safety and government operators.
The Contract is financed by the Cohesion Fund project (2021-2027.2.03.23-0017), “Increasing Maritime Rescue Capability”, and co-financed by the Estonian state budget.
