Gama Aviation has announced a significant enhancement to its rotary-wing maintenance capabilities with the addition of H145 maintenance approvals at its Gloucester Airport, Staverton facility.

This development marks a key milestone in Gama Aviation’s ongoing investment in rotary aviation support services, strengthening the Group’s ability to serve VIP, utility, and air ambulance operators throughout the UK.

Just over a year since its acquisition, Gama Aviation has transformed its Staverton facility into a comprehensive rotary maintenance hub. With the addition of Airbus H145 capability, the site now offers integrated support for a range of widely operated platforms, including the AW169 and AW139.

The Staverton site now delivers a full complement of services, including: design & production (Part 21 J & G), maintenance (Part 145), component paint shop and support from Gama Aviation’s nationwide Mobile Service Team.

These capabilities enable operators to consolidate their maintenance requirements from routine inspections and major reconfigurations to the installation of mission-specific equipment at a single, strategically located site.

Paul Kinch, Managing Director MRO, said “The addition of Airbus H145 approval at Staverton is a major step in expanding our rotary capability. It enables us to provide tailored, efficient support for our clients while reinforcing our position as a trusted partner in critical mission support. Our team is committed to delivering service excellence across the full lifecycle of each aircraft we maintain.”

As part of Gama Aviation’s strategic rotary growth plan, the Group is targeting the introduction of Airbus EC/H135 maintenance approvals by Q1 2026.
