Portland based HeliOperations has successfully obtained UK Civil Aviation Authority approval to conduct Helicopter Offshore Deck Landing Qualification training using the AW139, following an extensive program of development, planning, design assurance, regulatory engagement and operational validation.

This approval represents a significant enhancement to our training capability and demonstrates our continued commitment to the highest standards of operational excellence, safety and regulatory compliance.
The achievement is the result of an outstanding collaborative effort between our Flight Operations, Continuing Airworthiness, Engineering, Safety & Compliance and Training teams, working alongside the UK CAA and our industry partners. Their professionalism, dedication and attention to detail have made this possible.

The capability enables HeliOperations to deliver realistic offshore deck landing training in a representative maritime environment, preparing flight crews for the unique challenges of offshore helicopter operations while maintaining the highest levels of safety.
