Milestone Aviation has completed a lease transaction with Gulf Med Aviation Services, including the placement of two H145s from our fleet,
as well as the Purchase and Lease Back of two new H145s. All four aircraft are now operating in Portugal, supporting helicopter emergency
medical services (HEMS) for the country’s national emergency medical services.
Commenting on this important milestone, Sebastien Moulin, Chief Commercial Officer, Milestone, said, “We are very proud of our partnership
with GMAS and the strong collaboration between our teams in delivering critical care across Portugal. This transaction highlights
Milestone’s financing solutions while directly supporting GMAS’s lifesaving operations across four bases on behalf of INEM, Portugal’s
National Emergency Medical Institute. With more than 1,000 flight hours already completed – alongside 639 missions and 387 rescues – these
aircraft are playing a vital role in strengthening Portugal’s emergency medical services.”
“One thousand flight hours in a context as demanding as emergency medicine do not happen by chance. They result from a genuine commitment to
this service, from dedicated and technically well-prepared crews, and from the use of modern aircraft specifically designed for this type of
mission”, says Simon J. Camilleri, CEO of Gulf Med Aviation Services and Group Executive Director of Medilink International.
