StarFlight's Victoria Police AW139 fleet has reached 20,000 flying hours since commencing operations in 2020, equivalent to more than two
years continuously airborne in support of policing, search and rescue, and community safety operations across Victoria.
The achievement highlights the success of their long-term partnership with Victoria Police and the dedication of the people who keep the
fleet operating at such a high level.
Since the contract began, StarFlight Victoria's engineering team has completed 66 heavy maintenance inspections, processed 69,000 work cards
and contributed more than 100,000 engineering hours to support fleet availability. Their work has enabled the fleet to reach its latest
5,000-hour milestone four months faster than the previous 5,000 hours.
Reaching 20,000 flying hours is a testament to the commitment of the engineers, pilots, Tactical Flight Officers, logistics specialists and
support teams, who work together to deliver a safe, reliable and highly capable aviation service every day.
