Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-driven Technical Records professional to play a critical role in maintaining the airworthiness and integrity of our fleet. This position is responsible for managing accurate, compliant and accessible aircraft technical records, supporting maintenance, servicing and long-term fleet planning in a dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, audit and control aircraft technical records, logbooks and maintenance documentation
- Use Aeronet (or similar systems) to track maintenance, manage work packs and monitor schedules
- Ensure ongoing compliance with CASA, FAA and internal company requirements
- Support the HAAMC, Chief Engineer and Maintenance Planners with airworthiness oversight and fleet planning
- Monitor aircraft reliability, hours, cycles and maintenance intervals
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency and record security
- Track and record component removals/installs, back-to-birth documentation and traceability
- Maintain aircraft weight and balance records, equipment lists and modification status
- Ensure accurate recording of defects, deferred maintenance and rectifications
- Support internal and external audits, including CASA, FAA and customer audits
- Manage digitalisation, archiving and retention of technical records in line with regulatory requirements
- Raise and track corrective actions resulting from audits or record discrepancies
- Review and incorporate maintenance program amendments and regulatory updates
- Provide technical records support during AOG events and aircraft transitions
- Ensure timely closure of work packs, CRS documentation and release paperwork
- Assist with continuing airworthiness reporting and reliability data analysis
- Maintain control of controlled documents and revision status
- Support engineering change management and modification records
Experience & Skills
- Experience working with OEMs and maintenance tracking systems
- Strong understanding of technical documentation and maintenance processes
- High attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of accountability
- Solid computer literacy and clear written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine interest in aviation and aircraft operations
Role Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- On-site role based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Cooroy / Marcoola.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
