Airbus has celebrated the delivery of the last of the 36 H135s under a contract signed at the end of 2021 for Spain. This particular aircraft is the seventh for the Spanish Navy and will join the Twelfth Squadron of the Aircraft Fleet (FLOAN), whose coat of arms features a large white owl known as Nival, in Spanish.

The completion of this contract underlines the prominence of the H135 in the Spanish security forces, a model that has earned trust in critical public service missions with more than 100 units throughout the country. The Air Force already has 11 units for pilot training; FAMET and UME operate 16 H135s, while the Spanish National Police and the Guardia Civil have a total of 47 operational units to protect and save lives around the country.
