Boeing has been awarded an $877,742,891 firm-fixed-price delivery order for the production of for the procurement of MH-47G BLOCK II renew and Battle Loss Replacement helicopters. The contract also includes related services such as implementation of engineering change proposals and procurement of pre-production materials/long lead items in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

Various task orders have also been issued under the IDV by USSOCOM and the Army's Program Executive Office Aviation, covering the production of MH-47G helicopters, advanced avionics pods and long lead items.

The work will be performed at Boeing's Vertical Lift division, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania and is expected to be completed by end of 2030.
