The first images of the UK’s CH-47F have been released by Boeing and show the aircraft emerging from the production line at their Philadelphia site, with the officially released images showing the H-47 Extended Range Chinook in an all-black finish and fitted with long range fuel tanks.

The Royal Air Force will become the first international operator of a Block II Chinook and will enable the RAF to fly farther and carry more in support of its missions. Block II model features extended-range fuel tanks. First deliveries are scheduled for 2027.
