A Czech volunteer group, Darek pro Putina (“Gift for Putin”), have announced the delivery, on X, of a Black Hawk to Ukraine that was funded through public donations from citizens of Czechia and Slovakia.

In March over 20,000 volunteers raised over $3 million to purchase the helicopter specifically for use by Ukrainian intelligence units.

"The Black Hawk UH-60 Čestmír helicopter has arrived in Ukraine. Thank you to everyone who believed in this and contributed. Today, the Czech Republic became the first country in the world whose citizens donated a helicopter to Ukraine. And many Slovaks helped too. We were honored." the fundraising organizers said.
