Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH has signed a seven-year contract with the German Armed Forces for the maintenance of the NH90 TTH. The first helicopters are expected to arrive shortly at the EFW site in Dresden, EFW has previously performed maintenance work on the NH90, but as a subcontractor. 

EFW will be responsible for the maintenance of the NH90 TTH (Tactical Transport Helicopter) variant operated by the army. The scope of services includes: regular inspections, potential modifications and possible component repairs. With this contract, EFW strengthens its existing expertise in the helicopter sector and underscores the importance of its Dresden location.

For the first time, EFW will act as a direct contractor for the German Armed Forces within the framework of this program.
