Navantia, S.A., S.M.E, and Alpha Unmanned Systems S.L., have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a framework for jointly
exploring synergies in shipborne unmanned aerial systems (UAS), leveraging Navantia’s global expertise in naval design and systems
integration alongside Alpha’s proven leadership and technical know-how in tactical unmanned helicopters.
Alpha’s A900 UAV helicopter, already in service with navies and security forces in more than 12 international markets, will be considered as
part of Navantia’s technological portfolio, enhancing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities for naval operations
worldwide.
