The French Ministry of Armed Forces Direction de la Maintenance Aéronautique have awarded a contract to NHV Group to support the Flottille 34F/ESHE (École de Spécialisation sur Hélicoptères Embarqués) of the French Navy. The contract covers the provision of helicopter flight hours and aviation support services specifically for training naval helicopter crews and instructors.

NHV will provide 3 to 4 AS365 N3 Dauphins to the French Navy to conduct training missions. The contract includes delivering around 2500 flight hours per year, supporting the training pipeline for naval pilots and crew. Also to ensure high availability and continuity of service an additional spare Dauphin will be included in the support package.

The contract is aimed at aeronautical training support rather than combat deployment specifically to support the 34F squadron’s flight training mission at the Naval Aviation base in Lanvéoc-Poulmic.

NHV already supports the French Navy at Lanvéoc with leased AS365N3 Dauphin aircraft for similar roles. The company’s presence at the Navy base includes aircraft support, line maintenance, fleet logistics and continuous airworthiness management.
