At the recent 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition, MSPO, PZL-Świdnik has offered the AW109 TrekkerM as the training proposal for the Polish Armed Forces. The submission included the purchase of 24 training aircraft required to train flight crews for arrival of the 96 AH-64E Apaches, 32 AW149s and four AW101s.

The PZL-Świdnik proposal is a complete single package that would include domestic manufacturing of the AW109 TrekkerM, flight simulators and tactical instruction packages.

The AW109 TrekkerM is a three-tonne class military helicopter with a low workload single/dual-pilot VFR/IFR integrated glass cockpit featuring advanced avionics and systems that provide situational awareness. A Synthetic Vision System (SVS), Highway In The Sky (HITS) depiction, moving map and embedded Helicopter Terrain Avoidance Warning System (HTAWS).
