The Australian Army's first AH-64E Apache Attack Helicopters have commenced flying operations in Townsville, QLD, completing acceptance, airworthiness and assurance activities to ensure safe, effective operations.

Since deliveries began in September 2025, four Apaches have joined the fleet, bringing a lethal, connected and protected attack aviation capability ready to operate across land and amphibious environments.
